Vintage Swedish Collectable: Antique Swedish Clogs - Wood & Leather This is a pair of antique Swedish clogs. They were hand made in the 1930's. They are about a man’s size 10-11. They have thick leather uppers dyed black. The lowers are all wood - one solid piece hand carved. The sides of the wood are dyed black to match the leather. There is a thin leather insole just for the heel, otherwise your feet are on bare wood. About 25 years ago some rubber soles were glued to the bottom to make the shoes more comfortable for street use, and they are still in almost new condition. They are easily removed if you would rather return the clogs to their original condition. These shoes have had very little use and are in excellent shape. They are fully functional as well as nice decorative items. Please see the photo. I’ve provided the information that I like to see when I am buying things for myself, so I hope it’s complete.
